Andy Warhol Seminar Reflection:

During the Seminar i really connected to Shawntell's comment on how we take for granted the art we are surrounded by because we live in Durango, Colorado and this is one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. Because we live here, we take for granted the beauty and advantages we are surrounded by. When she made the comment what directly came to mind was my one of my family members that complained on how boring Durango was and how they wanted to move and i feel like a lot of the people that live here do take for granted the beauty of our home.

What had changed my thinking during the seminar was when Hank made the point that the whole artical was satirical, i started to agree with this point of view because Andy mentioned so much about being boring and boring is repetitive and that is what society is, like TV shows. And i think Andy was creative and driven then boring and plane, as he claimed to be.

As i mentioned before i made a connection with the art and beauty that we take for granted that we are surrounded by.

I think that i was a very strong listener because i listened to my classmates and made a lot of connections in my head, and i did a agree with a lot of their points.

Second Semester project purposal:
I am interested in making a piece of art out of food, i am currently looking at cake designs and fruit Chinese art.

About the Class:
This semester in Digital Arts we have gotten the opportunity to creat different types of artwork, the art ranges from paintings, drawings, to even photoshop creations.

About Me:
I really enjoy this class, it has allowed me to explore different types of art. I have come to find out that i am very interested in painting. Before Digital Arts i had only done drawings and sketches, i had the opportunity to try painting for the first time and i came to realize that i really enjoy doing it. I have only made two different paintings so far in this class but i am very proud of them!
